Loma Prieta hits during the World Series, and the Marina takes the worst of it. Half the block goes dark for weeks. The grill comes back before the streetlights do.
The Neighborhood Changes Hands
The dot-com boom reaches Chestnut Street. Rents climb, storefronts turn over, and the block starts filling with names nobody recognizes. We stay put.

What's the difference between a regular and a Super?
A Super adds guacamole and sour cream. On burritos it also comes with rice, beans, cheese, and salsa.

Yes. Salsa ranchera and enchilada sauce are sold by the half pint and pint, along with beans and guacamole.
Do you take large orders?
Beans, guacamole, and salsas come by the pint for groups. Call ahead for anything sizable
